The internet is a GREAT thing, and I think we can all agree on that. Amongst it's gazillion other benefits the internet allows average and ordinary people (just like you and I) to reach hundreds of thousands if not millions of targeted people for pennies on the dollar (compared to other "more expensive" marketing methods).

And if you're a Network Marketer looking to build a strong, six figure residual income with your business your best bet to getting there is by harnessing the vast, mystical powers of the internet. And that's why, if you're today's Network Marketer "You Need Your Own Website." And not just not just any website, you need a website that'll pull prospects toward you and your business.

Don't Rely On Your Company's Generic Replicated Website And Here's Why. . .

Everyone else is using it! What's gonna make someone want to join you instead of the next guy around the corner using the exact same website you're using. That's right absolutely nothing.

Now I could go on and on about why you should not use your company's replicated website so I've made a quick list of reasons why using the replicated website your company so kindly handed to you will send you to the poor house (just like it almost did to me). Here's why you don't want to use your MLM Company's Replicated website:

1. Everyone else is using the same website you're using.
2. It's actually designed to promote your company not you and your business.
3. It does more "explaining" than selling.
4. It doesn't build a relationship with your prospect.
5. It doesn't "pull" your prospect to learn more about you and your business, it only "informs" them about your company.

How To Build Your Own Prospect Pulling
(Lead Generating) Website

Building a Prospect Pulling Website isn't as hard as it may seem. Trust me, once you learn how to build your own, you'll never use another stale, generic and over-used Replicated Website ever again.

There are 3 basic components you must have in order to build an effective Prospect Pulling (Lead Generating) Website that gets results.

Benefits - If you've studied any kind of marketing, you'll know that you NEED to explain the benefits of your opportunity but in our case you will also need to explain the benefits of why your prospects should potentially sign up with you and no one else.

Tell Your Story - Prospects don't want to learn when your company was created, and how long they've been in business, what's their mission statement, etc. (things they'll usually see on a company's replicated website). You have to promote yourself first! And the best way to do that is to tell your story.

Telling your story is one of the most powerful techniques you could ever learn and here's why:

• You're promoting yourself first.
• You can start building a relationship with your prospect before you even pick up the phone
• You can hide the benefits of what you have to offer, in your story. (This way prospects do think that you're trying to sell them, you're just telling them your story)
• You set yourself apart from everyone else out there (who are probably still promoting their "great" replicated website)
• You show your prospect you're not some faceless person hiding behind a website, you're an actual person who is here to help them succeed.

Never under-estimate the power of telling your story. It's always the people who tell the best stories filled with "hidden" benefits that make the most money in Network Marketing.

Offer a Freebie - Everyone loves a good freebie, because it's free! Remember, the ultimate goal of your Prospect Pulling (Lead Generating) website is to snag your prospect's contact information so that you can effectively follow-up with them.

So amongst everything else, you always want to offer your prospect a freebie for giving you their contact information. You can use almost anything as a freebie, as long as it's relevant and of good quality.

Here's just a quick list of some of what you can offer your prospects:

• Special Reports
• Ezines
• Ebooks
• Newsletters
• etc.

And here are some sample "Freebie" topics you can use for your own freebie:

• 5 Tips to Avoid Home Business Disaster.
• How to Build A Home Business On a Shoe String Budget.
• 7 Reasons Why You Need To Start a Home Business TODAY.
• How to Choose The Home Business That's Right For You.
• How to Make A Full-Time Income On A Part-Time Basis Working From Home.

Once you have implemented these 3 components to your Prospect Pulling Website, you'll never go back to building your business the same way again.

Using these 3 basic components have worked very well for me in the past. It's one thing to call prospects and it's another when they know who you are, why you're calling, and are ready to listen to what you say. So please, do yourself a favor, use these 3 techniques as soon as possible.

MLM Tip Of The Month

Don't Try to Reinvent The Wheel

Many Network Marketers fall into the trap of "Trying to Reinvent The Wheel". And I'm here to tell you, DON'T do it! Unless you have the time, money and energy to spend on something that someone else has already spent tons of time, money and energy on, I think its safe to say it's almost pointless to take this approach when you're building your business.

Trust me, I speak from experience. Trying to reinvent the wheel or trying to do things your way and wing it on your own almost never goes well, you'll wind up spending tons of time, money, and valuable energy trying to figure something out that someone else has figured out.

For example: trying to build your own Prospect Pulling Website is something I would not recommend you try to wing it on your own. If you're not interested in my Free Personal Web Consulting then do the next best thing use those 3 components I taught you earlier. It took me a lot of time, money and energy to figure those 3 components out, but you essentially learned them for free because I went through all the turmoil so you don't have to.

But on a broader note, the lesson here is to only accept the guidance of credible people who have been there, done it, tripped up, fell, dusted themselves off and kept going.
