MLM Success Tips Newsletter Sunday, 02/12/06 In This Issue:
If you must know,
today's a pretty sucky day for most of the East Coast. It just keeps
snowing and snowing and snowing, pretty much non-stop. Which just
happens to be the best time to write another informative newsletter for
ya' (because it's much easier to focus when you don't really have no where to
go). But at any rate, hopefully
you're enjoying better weather than I am and if you're not, hopefully
you already saw the snow coming and got a good movie from Netflix or
something because with weather like this "you're gonna need it".
Well, back to business I guess. . . .
After looking at some of the feedback that
I've gotten, it seems like a considerable amount of people are still,
more or less in the beginning stages of their MLM Business and it seems
that most of those people are having some trouble with MLM Leads and
building their business.
Which is why I started my MLM Lead
Success For "Dummies" series. I'm gonna go step by step showing you
what you need to do and have in order to be successful marketing your
business and calling up leads.
I also want to make this newsletter a little
more interactive, so you can actually voice your opinion on certain
topics that are raised in each issue instead of listening to me blab on
and on about this stuff. I wanna know if what I'm writing
about and putting into this newsletter is hitting dead on, or if it
really just "blows chunks". So be on the look out for interactive polls

Featured Article One of the common mistakes most MLM'ers
make when they're starting their new home based business, is jumping
into the MLM lead game too quick. Yes, I know the thought of making a few
thousand dollars like most people are promised their very first month
is good reason to start buying leads and going full force, but realize
that there are things you need to know before you even "think about"
buying some (usually) leads to build your business. Do You
REALLY Know Your MLM Business? Well let me rephrase that so you can
see where I'm going with this. How well do you know your MLM Business? Ok, so you know the name of the
company, the name of some the products, and maybe that it could
make people a whole lot of money if they sign up. But do you really
know your MLM Business well enough to have a comfortable
conversation with someone about it. Now I know you've probably been told
somewhere down the line by one of your upline members or maybe even
your sponsor: "If they have any questions just "3-way" them to me
or to this number and
they'll get their questions answered." Now let's do some role playing for a
minute. If someone came to your house saying they have a wonderful way
for you to make some extra money from home, and it's wonderful and
it's great and it's the best thing since sliced bread. And as soon as
you ask them some simple questions like "How's it going for you?" or
"What so great about this product?" or "What makes this different from
the other things I've seen?"- and they say "Hold on, let me get the guy
who brought me into this business, he knows this business better than
I do." Would you really trust and join someone
like that? - I hope not. And it all boils down to "really"
knowing your business. Just think about it, if you don't know what
makes your MLM Business great, how can expect someone to think it's
great as well. And if you can't tell someone why you're so passionate
about your MLM Business how can you expect the leads you call up to
get passionate with you. So if you haven't realized it yet. . . MLM Lead
Success Step # Now I'm not saying you have to know
"everything" about your MLM Business like whose in charge of the
accounting department at their head quarters. But you want to know
just enough so that you can have an informative conversation with
someone about your company. Here are a few things you need to know
about your business before you start purchasing MLM Leads for your
business. 1. Know your products - There
are so many reasons you need to know your products. Just ask yourself:
How can I stand alongside this company and it's product if I
don't even know if their product "works" or not? and. . . How can I
expect my downline to use these products if "I" don't use them either? The key behind a successful MLM
Business is through "creating supply chains" of customers and
distributors who use the products. If no one uses the products, no one
makes any money it's just that simple. If you don't use your products
regularly, don't expect your downline to. And since the only
true way to effectively know your products is by using it, it's a win win
for everyone, including yourself. But the key here is, don't just buy
YOUR products for the sake of fulfilling your "monthly requirement", you should
be using your product regularly, to the point where you can see the
benefits of using it rather than using some other company's product. For example: If you're in a nutritional
company, try some of their energy bars, or some of their supplements
and see how they make you feel. Don't just use them once or twice, use
them regularly so that you can see "for yourself" that
your products
work and delivers everything that it promises. . . and then some. In addition to helping you know your
products better, it also helps you develop your Magnetic Story (more
on that later) 2. What makes it different - What
makes your MLM Business and it's products different from the few
hundred that's out there already? Trust me, if you don't know the answer
to this, you're like a fish outta water, "You're Not Gonna Make It".
There are just too many MLM Business Opportunities out there, offering
just about the same thing you are. You need to know what makes your company
different. Do you have a better compensation
plan? - if so how is it better, then Do you use all natural 100%
environmentally safe products? - if so, name a few,
Do you have a support system that can
help other people succeed? - if so, tell it to your prospect. Do you offer a full 100% money back
guarantee? - if so,
The point I'm trying to make is this:
think about what made you join your business opportunity. Was it their
compensation plan, their great products, or maybe it was a money back
guarantee that made it so appealing. In any case, you have to find out
what sets your MLM Business apart from the rest. Don't expect people to join just for
the simple fact that they can "make some extra money". You have to
find that one distinct benefit that your MLM Business offers that will
appeal to your prospect's interest just as your sponsor did with which
made you sign up. Which brings me to my next MLM Lead
Success Step. . .
Ultimately I believe, how well you
develop your own "Magnetic" story will in one way shape or form determine how far
you go in your MLM Business. Now bare with me because I'm about to take it back to 2nd grade for a
minute. "So class put on your thinking caps. . . OK here we go!" I want you to take a close look around, and if you
do it carefully you'll see that almost every successful Network Marketer
has developed his or her own powerful "Magnetic" story that practically pulls people
into their organization. Haven't you ever noticed that it's the
Marketers with the most interesting, intriguing stories that have the
most success. Whether they're talking about the
products or their business opportunity, no matter if they're on a
conference call or talking to someone one-on-one, they always tell
"their story". So I want you to learn from these guys,
because what they're doing is not only working, it's working
effectively. And it's real simple too, all these stories do is show
how much of an impact their xyz business opportunity or their XYZ
product had on them or a particular part of their life. For example: And of course as Mike got into the
business opportunity part of his presentation he would again tell his
story about how this company made such a financial impact on his life,
which is why he is able to work from home, spend more time with
family, which allowed him to leave his "Corporate Tech Job" and
be
By telling your story you allow your
prospects to see that you can relate to them, you've been through
what they're going through and in some cases you may have been through
much worse, and ever since you started to use XYZ product or joined
XYZ company your life has changed dramatically. It also shows your
prospects that you're living proof that your MLM product, or your MLM
Business actually "works" and gets results. As important and crucial as developing
your "Magnetic" story is, it's surprisingly simple. But in the interest of saving
space in today's newsletter I'll continue my "MLM Lead Success for
Dummies" series next time, where I'll not only show you the simple process of
Developing your own Magnetic Story even if you've have limited success
to this point, but also where and how to use it and whole lot more.

A short while ago I received an email from my buddy Chris K. that

wished someone would have sent me when I first started out on my first
MLM adventure, read it for yourself and apply it to your MLM Business
right away, so you don't fall into the same trap that I did.
Always remember, your sponsor is there to help you any way
possible. No, they're not going to do all the work for you but they'll
put you on the path that you need to go in. Just remember, the more you show your upline and your sponsor that
you're ready to do what it takes to build a success MLM Business by
staying in constant contact with them once or maybe twice a week, then
they'll gladly help you above some of the others who may not be as
serious as you are (provided they know what they're doing). Use your sponsor and your upline, as much as possible - pick their
brains, learn their strategies, learn why and how they're so
successful, trust me if they know how to build a
successful business and are willing to teach you, you'll be glad you
