Dear Fellow Entrepreneur and Networker,

So after 12 minutes of hyping myself up, saying "Rich, You Can Do This - Rich. . . You Can Do This", Armed with my "Can't Lose" Script I ripped from an ebook that I got from some guy on the internet, my bottle of water (cause you always need water) I set out on one of the Most *PAINFUL* Experiences in MLM History.

After memorizing my script, word for "Freakin" word - (As you could imagine I had the longest script known to mankind, let alone the mlm industry) with my shaky hands and "sweaty palms" I somehow dialed the first ten digits of my Home Business Career, and it went something like this:

Phone Call 1: The Best Phone Call (A Shy person like "Mwa" Could Ask For)

Ring. . . Ring. . . Ring. . .

No Answer

Me: . . .  "Whew, I guess I'm off the hook with that one."

Phone Call 2: The "Dreaded" Telemarketer

Ring. . .  Ring. . . Ring. . .

Prospect (Sally): Hello?

Me: Actual Sample of the Generic Worn Down "Top-Notch" Script I Once Used:

Sally: Are you a telemarketer?, I don't want Telemarketers calling my house!

Me: I'm not an (ahhh.....) Telemarketer, I just wanted to (ummmm......) ask you a few questions about. . . .

Sally: Questions for what?

Me: (Umm......) Questions to (ahhh.....) see if you would like to (ahh.....) join my (umm.....)

Sally: What's this all about, why Are YoU CALLING ME?

Me: Oh, this is about (umm.....), well I'm callin you because I wanted to ask.....

Sally: Are You a Tele-Marketer?

Me: No, but (ummm......) I need to ask you some (ahh.....) ques.....

Sally: NOT INTERESTED!. . . . click!

Phone Call 3: The Ego Bruiser
Phone Call 4: The "Don't Ever Call Me Again"
Phone Call 5: The Gut Check
Phone Call 6: The "I'm Just Not Interested, Ok!"

Needless to say after a few Prospecting Calls like these to a Fragile MLM Newbie just getting started, it's no wonder why I was quickly shaking my head - wondering "Geeze, this brutal - What's wrong with these people!"

So naturally I did what all of us have done, "blamed it on the leads". I spent hundreds of dollars each month on leads alone - "These are Fresher - These are Pre-qualified, These Filled Out a 16 Question Survey" - Yodda, Yodda, Yodda.

I'm going to let you in on something a *Wise Man* once taught me that always stuck in my head. Back when I was still wet behind the ears I asked him: "What are the best leads to start out with?"

And what he said just completely threw me through a loop. . . but I understood where he was coming from. He said:

"Richard, It Doesn't Matter What Leads You Use -
See, Leads Are Only As Good As The Communicator"

And the sad part was - I kept saying the same Mumbo Jumbo not even knowing why I was saying this Mumbo Jumbo to these "Expensive Leads" and wondering why I kept getting the door slammed in my face. And for my Hard Work, Mis-Guided Time, Sweat and Effort all  I got was:

  • The Painful "Sting" Of Rejection (Over and Over again)

  • Prospecting Anxiety

  • Utter Fear Of The Telephone

Listen Up and Check This Out...

You don't have to be Mr. or Mrs. Perfect when you're prospecting. Trust me, I used to suffer from Perfection Paralysis! - I wouldn't call my prospects unless I knew EVERY single stinkin' word I was going to say off of that insanely long script I used to use when I first started out. Remember:

You're Going To See Me Stumble, Fumble AND Still Force My Prospects To Say "Yes" - WHILE I'M DOING IT! That's Right! - While I'm Actually On The Phone With My Prospects!

It’s one thing when your sponsor gives you some leads, gives you a script, and then tells you… “Go get ‘em tiger!” 

But it’s an entirely different ball game when someone like me comes along, takes you by the hand, and walks you step-by-step through the entire process from A-Z on how I make my sales and close my prospects, WHILE I'M DOING IT.

"That's Why More And More Of These So-Called "Gurus" And "MLM Experts" Are Disgusted At What I'm Doing"

I'm here to let you know that you're being jipped. Because the #1 most important critical key Prospecting element is being left out. Yup. 9 out of 10 sponsors who teach you what to say over the telephone and give you scripts to use… 9 out of 10 times they forget to teach you "why" you're saying this stuff in the first place.

Think about this, you're sponsor can say "Yeah, ask your prospects this, this and this and then say that and your done". Great right, well what if your prospect says something that's totally out of left field. Like "how much is this gonna cost me?"

Do you know the psychology of "WHY" they're really asking that question, and how to handle it before it creeps up on you and bites you in the you know what like a snake in the woods. None of my prospecting calls are ever the same, which means you should expect prospects to say some spontaneous and almost unthinkable things in one way shape or form and if you don't know the psychology behind it "their real question" then you're going to have an unnecessarily hard time in the end.

Most sponsors & Upline Leaders never teach you about the psychology behind prospecting simply because they never learned about it themselves OR they're just intentionally holding back Vital Information to your success for their benefit (trust me, I've seen it happen). Either way, you're the one left for dead, struggling along side the road - watching everyone pass you by.

And please do yourself a favor! Don't use someone else's script when you're prospecting - I'm talking word for word. I've seen this too often and it's gotta stop! Why would you want to use all these "fancy-dancy" words that you don't even feel comfortable using?! - When you do that, you begin to sound like the "Dreaded Telemarketer" (and you know how much we all love them) - So, Please Don't do it to yourself. Just as I teach you in my course: "You Are The Best Script, You Could Ever Have!"

Prospecting Is As Simple As This:

  1. Introduction (Build Rapport)

  2. Pick Some Pertinent Info Out Of Your Prospect (Use this info as "ammo" later on)

  3. Close 'em (Get Them To Say "Yeah, I'll check out what you have to offer")

THAT'S IT! - As long as you have these 3 things and the communication skills to light a *Fire* under your prospect - "So they can't possibly say no" (unless they're mentally ill or don't understand the language spoken)
